

(MA UCL; PhD University of Birmingham) was born in Turin (Italy) and lives in Edinburgh (UK). She is Lecturer in Italian at the University of Edinburgh and Honorary Research Associate at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her research has been funded by the AHRC and the University of Birmingham.
She has taught at the University of Birmingham, Royal Holloway, the NABA, the IMLR and the Media School of the University of Bournemouth. She has given lectures at UCL, Oxford, Leeds, NYU, Bergen, Brown University.
Her critically acclaimed monograph Pasolini After Dante. The Divine Mimesis and the politics of representation (Routledge, 2016) was long-listed for the Gadda Prize. She is also editor of La nuova gioventù? Saggi sull'eredità intellettuale di Pier Paolo Pasolini (2009, Joker) and co-editor of Transmedia. Storia, memoria e narrazioni attraverso i media (Mimesis, 2014). Her latest book Opera aperta. From the novel to electronic literature (Peter Lang) was published in April 2022.
She is the forum co-editor of the journal Explorations in Media Ecology and Digital Strategy portfolio holder of the Society for Italian Studies.
